Terms of Service
Last updated · July 17, 2026
These terms set expectations for using PairFound. We have kept this pre-launch draft clear and readable while the final document undergoes legal review.
Pre-launch draft · requires legal review before launchAbout these terms
These pre-launch terms describe the intended rules for using PairFound. They require legal review and will not become binding until the final terms identify the operating legal entity and are presented when accounts open.
Eligibility and accounts
PairFound is intended for people aged 18 or older. Members must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, complete email verification, and take responsibility for activity on their account.
Using the service
PairFound is designed to help founders and developers create profiles, discover relevant people, express interest, form mutual matches, and message those matches. Investor access and paid subscriptions may be introduced later.
The service does not provide identity verification, legal or investment advice, guaranteed matches, employment placement, or end-to-end encrypted communication. PairFound does not facilitate investment transactions.
Community conduct
Do not harass others, misrepresent yourself, send spam, scrape the service, evade blocks, compromise accounts, upload unlawful material, or use PairFound in a way that harms members or the service. Respect confidentiality and obtain permission before sharing another person’s information.
Matches and member agreements
Members decide whether to connect, collaborate, employ, form a company, or agree on equity. PairFound is not a party to those relationships or agreements and does not endorse or guarantee members, ventures, opportunities, or outcomes. Seek independent professional advice before making legal, financial, or employment commitments.
Content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit. You would grant PairFound the limited permission needed to host, display, transmit, and process that content to provide and secure the service. You must have the rights needed to submit it.
Safety and enforcement
Members will be able to block and report others. PairFound may review reports and restrict, suspend, or remove access where reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, protect people or the service, or comply with law. Urgent safety concerns should be directed to local emergency services.
Future paid services
Free and paid access may be offered in the future. Before any paid service opens, checkout terms, renewal timing, cancellation rights, prices, taxes, and applicable EU consumer protections will be presented clearly. No checkout or paid activation is currently available.
Availability and changes
The private-beta service may change, experience interruptions, or be withdrawn. PairFound does not promise that every feature will always be available. Material changes to live terms would be communicated appropriately.
Liability and governing law
The final terms will include legally reviewed warranty, liability, dispute, governing-law, and consumer-rights provisions appropriate to Lithuania and the European Union. Nothing in the final terms will limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending use
Members may stop using the service and, once account controls are enabled, request account closure. Provisions that by their nature should continue after closure may survive as described in the final terms.
